  Air Vacuum Excavation Systems

AAA AquaFlo Plumbing has a State-of-the-Art vacuum system for pot holing, soil excavation & other wet or dry vacuum applications.

This system is powered by a 24 HP Honda gasoline engine, it has a 575 cfm blower to generate air velocity of 193 kph.

Vacuum excavation pot holing allow us to confirm exact locations of buried utilities, reducing the risk of damage.

Our vacuum excavation unit can dig caissons 2 feet in diameter, 6 feet deep along the highway. Pole line contractors use vacuum excavators to dig holes for utility and light poles in crowded easements, where use of conventional methods is difficult or impossible.

Any time we set utility poles in highly sensitive areas near high pressure gas lines, fiber optic cable, and in downtown areas we dig holes by vacuum excavation.

The process is first search & locate services with a driven locator, the the ground is marked with a paint marker then with a high pressure vacuum & water, we are able to locate a service without digging or making any type of service.

This vacuum excavator is a portable vacuum system and a soft excavator, able to make small, precisely controlled excavations without a powerful stream of pressurized water or high pressured air. Soil is sucked up by the machines vacuum hose.

Primary function jobs are digging pot holes to visibly identify locations of existing buried pipes, cables & to vacuum up drilling fluids that flow from bare holes during drilling & back reaming.

When AAA AquaFlo Plumbing has found service using vacuum excavation, we then, back fill the pot hole using native or foreign materials as needed.
